Meet Our 2025-2026 Cohort

The 2025–26 cohort of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Fellowship includes thirteen business owners from across Michigan, representing communities in Grand Rapids, Detroit, Lansing, and Northern Michigan. Their companies span industries as diverse as childcare, accounting, marketing, entertainment, fitness, advanced manufacturing, and chocolate making.

Mary Barton speaks to the cohort while Rebecca Dutcher smiles.

What unites this exceptional group is their shared dedication to community, creativity, and growth. Some have reimagined long-standing family businesses for a new generation, while others have built their ventures from the ground up—meeting local needs, creating jobs, and opening doors in underrepresented industries.

These entrepreneurs are driving Michigan’s economy forward in meaningful ways: supporting small businesses, expanding access to quality childcare, inspiring healthier lifestyles, and advancing innovation in manufacturing and technology. Their work connects people and communities through purpose, passion, and impact.

As the 2025–26 fellows, they set the standard for what’s next—shaping not only their own success but also the future of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Fellowship. Through their participation, they’re helping to build a program that will empower Michigan’s women entrepreneurs for years to come.
